ABOUT WEST

The idea for West came about in late 2007 between Rick and David Haynes. The Haynes brothers wanted to open a restaurant that had the metropolitan feel of restaurants in larger cities. Seeing a need for a unique and modern facility, they began collaborating to design what they feel is the best restaurant in Oklahoma.

Rick and David Haynes have owned and operated Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler for nearly 40 years. The Haynes brothers, along with the help of their Director of Operations, Janet Estes, have dedicated their lives to delivering the utmost quality in food and service to the Oklahoma community.

Executive Chef Eric Smith partnered with Rick and David in 2009, when he moved back to Oklahoma after owning and running two highly successful restaurants in Chicago. His many accomplishments and artistic taste help bring an original dynamic to West’s cuisine that is unlike any other restaurant.

The partnerships between these individuals are what differentiate West from any other Restaurant. Excellent service combined with innovative and modern cuisine make dining at West a truly enjoyable experience.
